When Arlington board member Walter Tejada was late for the swearing-in ceremony of newly-elected member John Vihstadt, Chairman Jay Fisette remarked that Tejada was running on “Latino time.’ After being questioned by a reporter, Fisette apologized.

  1. I actually like Jay a lot, but I do find it suspect that the Sun Gazette doesn’t identify him as a Democrat anywhere in the article. If a Republican had said this, his/her party would have been the headline.
